I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #97315), PhD candidate in Holistic Healing, and the founder of the Mind and Wellness Center in Newport Beach, California. I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach, and completed my undergraduate studies at Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey.

My clinical work spans a wide range of concerns, including trauma, addictions, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and life transitions. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their struggles, process unresolved pain, and reconnect with their authentic selves. I believe that healing is possible when we address both the mind and the deeper roots of emotional distress.

Before opening my practice, I worked as a Program Supervisor and Clinical Therapist in residential treatment centers. I also served as adjunct faculty at Chapman University, teaching Abnormal Psychology. These experiences continue to inform my integrative and compassionate approach to therapy.

In addition to psychotherapy, I am a Level 3 Reiki practitioner and integrate energy healing into my work, offering a holistic perspective that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. My ongoing PhD studies further deepen my commitment to blending evidence-based therapy with holistic and integrative practices.

 

As a bilingual therapist (English and Turkish) with lived experience in both Eastern and Western cultures, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work. I also provide Immigration Psychological Evaluations in both languages.

 

Beyond my clinical work, I am passionate about sharing knowledge and raising awareness. I regularly engage in media, public speaking, and professional trainings, covering topics such as mental health, trauma, addiction, and family systems.
