Justin Singh Courtney

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 153709), supervised by Jane DeWilde, LMFT (#107315). I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. I strive to create a warm and welcoming space where clients feel understood, supported, and safe to explore what they’re going through.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals navigating trauma, addiction, bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, skin-picking, substance use, and challenges within romantic and family relationships. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, find relief from overwhelm, and build relationships that feel healthier and more fulfilling.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in mind–body healing. I’m trained in Brainspotting and Somatic Experiencing—modalities that gently help the nervous system release what feels stuck and reduce anxiety, tension, and emotional overload. These approaches support deeper healing by working with both the brain and the body.

I also pull from person-centered therapy, DBT skills, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques. I believe therapy works best when it honors each person’s unique experience and inner strengths. My goal is to offer a space where you feel comfortable, empowered, and supported as you move toward clarity and healing.
